Brand

Name

The name is einkreader: one word, all lowercase, even at the start of a sentence. In running text it can be followed by what it is — “einkreader, a reading app for e-ink tablets”.

• Not “EinkReader”, “eInk Reader”, “E-Ink Reader” or “eink reader”.
• The domain is einkreader.app.

Logo

The mark is an e-reader showing a feed: the whole idea of the app in one picture. Use the horizontal logo by default, the stacked one when space is square, and the mark alone where the name is already written next to it. On dark backgrounds use the white versions.

• Clear space: keep empty space around the logo of at least half the mark’s width.
• Minimum size: 24 px tall for the mark, 120 px wide for the horizontal logo.
• Place it on white, the paper tone, or dark backgrounds — not on busy photos.

The icon as it appears on the home screen. The square version has no rounded corners, for stores and platforms that apply their own mask.

Sized for each platform. The profile picture keeps the device inside the circle that most platforms crop to.

Colors

Warm, near-neutral greys that look like paper and ink. They were picked to keep their contrast on an e-ink screen, which only shows shades of grey: never rely on hue alone to carry meaning.

The app itself is pure black on white, for the sharpest text on e-ink. Paper and Ink belong to the icon and marketing images.

Typography

The logo files have the lettering converted to outlines, so they look right without these fonts installed.
